Lancôme reveals its 40 shades

Last Friday Lancôme unveiled the much-anticipated Pop Up Store at Temple Muse. The brand's 40 Nigerian Lancôme ambassadors who were chosen to showcase Lancôme's 40 foundations and concealer shades were finally revealed at the star-studded event.

From the lightest to the darkest tones, the brand introduced a broad colour wheel making the product line accessible to African skin.

Beyond the diversity of shades, Lancôme reinforced its global make up leadership position and shared with its guests a wide selection of mascaras and lipsticks all packaged with the French touch of elegance that makes Lancôme one of the best cosmetic brand in the world.

Lancôme's godmother, Betty Irabor opened proceedings together with Eku Edewor who delivered the ‘My Shade My Power’ opening speech to encourage Nigerian women to celebrate their natural beauty in embracing their diversity.

In a cloud of pink and ‘La Vie est Belle’ flavoured atmosphere, Temple Muse celebrated Lancôme with classical French musical notes in the background. French delicacies were served during the event to celebrate the brand's DNA. Glasses were filled with champagne for the delight of guests and Waje added a touch of feminity to the gathering with romantic songs of her composition.

From Paris to Lagos, Lancôme celebrated Nigerian women diversity. Betty and Sonia Irabor, Lisa Folawiyo and Abi Kola Daisi to list a few followed the steps of Lupita Nyongo as brand ambassadors to represent the different shades of Lancôme.

Lancôme Parisian Celebrity Make Up artist, David Coranson-Beaudy joined the party to share his make-up expertise with guests. Free makeover consultations were offered to unleash women power.

Lancôme foundations, concealers, lipsticks, fragrances and other beauty products are available in the Pop Up store exclusively at Temple Muse for three weeks. A Lancôme in-house celebrity makeup artist is also in store for private makeover consultations to advise clients on the perfect colours and treatments to apply on your skin.
